Meet Nina

Nina is an LGPC based in Maryland, and graduated with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Georgia and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Morgan State University.

Nina is a passionate therapist dedicated to walking alongside individuals on their transformative journey toward healing and growth. Viewing all clients through an intersectional and trauma-informed lens, Nina utilizes an integrative approach, drawing from ACT, Psychodynamic, Mindfulness, and Attachment-based approaches.

In her free time, Nina enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and pets!

Nina is under supervision by Lourdine Jean-Francois, LCPC.

Nina specializes in topics such as trauma, anxiety, stress management, self-esteem and confidence, inner child wounds and reparenting self, relationship and friendship issues, boundaries, coping skills, and mindfulness. Nina works with adults and teens ages 16 and up.

  • We are a private pay practice, however, we are also able to process super bills at the end of each month for clients wanting to utilize their out of network benefits. Individual sessions are $160 per session. We also offer reduced rate options for those experiencing financial hardship.

  • Therapy with Nina works the way each client wants it to. She operates as a guide who walks alongside clients in the process. Together, goals are set at the start of sessions and worked on throughout the therapeutic journey.

Being open and honest, setting clear goals, and actively participating in sessions can help you get the most out of therapy. It's also important to be patient and give yourself time to process and apply what you learn.
